COVID-19/Coronavirus - Indefinite Suspension of Programming - Update #6 @ 2pm, April 2, 2020

 

Currently:

ALL programs/events are suspended indefinitely.

Due to the changing circumstances surrounding COVID-19, Basketball New Brunswick has officially canceled all remaining 2020 Provincial Championship tournaments for this season (i.e. these events will not be rescheduled at a later date). These events include the following divisions: U14, U16, U18, Intermediate, Masters, Grand Masters and Great-Grand Masters tournaments.

We considered many factors before arriving at this conclusion. With the current trajectory of the COVID-19 pandemic still rising, protecting the health, safety, and well-being of our athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers and their families is of the utmost importance.

While we are disappointed to fully cancel these events, the uncertainty of when we will be able to safely regain access to public facilities is a question we are not able to answer at this time.
 
All registered teams will receive a full refund.
We appreciate your patience while this process is completed as it may take several weeks.  All teams will receive an email indicating how this process will unfold depending on the method of payment you used at the time of registration.

All other spring/summer activities (EDP, Next Wave, etc.) continue to be suspended indefinitely. Communication regarding these programs will be posted once available.
